Upgrade to the Boss 302 and you will get a 5.0-liter Hi-Pro V-8 that pushes out 444 horsepower and gets 17 mpg city and 26 highway. Baseline F-150 comes with a 3.7-liter, 302 horsepower V-6 that gets 17 mpg city and 23 highway. Next up is Ford's EcoBoost engine, that displaces 3.5-liters but upgrades the horsepower to 365 and keeps fuel economy around 16 city and 22 highway.
